Penny Lane Holmes

This is our puppy Penny. We adopted her at the end of January, 2010. She is daschund/Shihtzu mix. Penny is now 7 months old. WOW! What an experience having a new puppy in the house. There has definitely been some adjusting. She is a very hyper dog with a lot of fun energy. Penny is also extremely loving and will lick and cuddle with you all day long. She keeps us on our toes constantly! She has chewed almost my entire wardrobe! ;) But, hey what do you do when you have that "puppy love"? We love her very much and hope that she gets trained very soon!

Summer Days

Well, my 3rd year of teaching is almost complete. I can't believe it has already been 3 years!! I am looking forward to the time off and especially this Fall. Jordan and I will also be celebrating our first wedding anniversary June 20th. We are also expecting our first child in November! I found out I was pregnant at the end of February, 2010. I am now almost 19 weeks in to my pregnancy. We found out a few weeks ago we are going to be having a precious little BOY! We are very excited. Jordan just started a new job this past Monday. He switched insurance agencies, and is now working for a company named "Darr & Shackow". He is very happy with his decision and is working extremely hard. We are also getting busy around the house. We are working on the outside by extending the patio and adding in a privacy fence. On the inside, we have the upstairs to complete. This includes our new bedroom, the nursery and the game room. That is about all that is on my mind these days, besides the pregnancy. So, we have a busy, busy summer ahead!
